Noise Disclosure: Our rooms are located above the main floor café and consignment store, and face toward Main Avenue in New Salem. The Metropolitan is usually a pretty quiet place at night. If you don’t mind the sound of Main Street USA or an occasional delivery truck, then you’ll love your time at the Metropolitan.
Cancellation Policy: Full refunds are issuable up to 2 weeks prior to check-in date.
Quiet Time Hours: 10PM - 6AM. No staff are onsite overnight, though cameras are placed in all public areas and accessible by staff while off-premise. The Metropolitan reserves the right to involve law enforcement when necessary to maintain peace and protect the facility.
Pets Policy: No pets are permitted.
Damage Disclosure: The Metropolitan reserves the right to recoup costs for physical damages inflicted on the room(s) and/or facility (beyond normal cleaning needs), and for missing items (electronics, linens, furniture, etc..) via charging the payment card and/or payment method of the registered customer.
Taxes and Fees: The Metropolitan charges sales tax on every booking, which is already included in the room price.
Housekeeping: The room will be cleaned and ready by 3PM on the day of your arrival. We do not provide cleaning services during your stay, though we can provide clean towels and linens upon request. The room will be cleaned after your departure and made ready for the next guest’s stay.
